Serenity Smiles Dental Care is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Coronal Polisher/Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Our practice is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care in a calm and welcoming environment. We proudly serve patients from all backgrounds, with a special focus on helping individuals who experience dental anxiety or fear.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled chairside assistance during general dental procedures.
- Perform coronal polishing under the dentist’s supervision.
- Take high-quality digital radiographs.
- Monitor patients receiving nitrous oxide, as permitted by Tennessee regulations.
- Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment rooms.
- Properly sterilize and organize instruments.
- Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Help patients feel safe, comfortable, and respected.
- Support an efficient clinical schedule and smooth patient flow.
- Work proactively with the clinical and administrative teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant registration.
- Current coronal polishing certification.
- Current dental radiology certification.
- Current nitrous oxide monitoring certification.
- At least two years of general dentistry experience.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Dependable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Open Dental.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but are not required.
